ABOUT THE ARTISTS
Ryan Jordan (UK)
www.ryanjordan.org
Ryan Jordans work attempts to set out a potential framework for the exploration of often hidden processes and systems functioning in technology, human perceptual mechanisms and environmental phenomena in an attempt to bring them into the forefront of our conscious reality.
Exoterrism (BE/HK)
www.soundcloud.com/exoterrism
In his work, Exoterrism (Fan Yau) born in Hong Kong 1987, seeks to overcome the separation between geometrical consciousness and the coming four dimensional perception. Influenced by esoteric systems,Yau often engages computer processed algorithms, as well as errors, feedback and chaotic functions. Constantly seeking for new sounds and synthesizing techniques, he researches the links and differences in human rational, scientific thinking and our existence as a spiritual being in the universe. Through experimentations of sound and it’s reaction on the human body, creating short term hallucinations or extra terrestrial experiences. When technology has already surpassed the current notion of space and time, patterns repeating through a multidimensional expanding dynamic system feed-backing through the present moment. When human soul is interpreted as binary decisions and the mind becomes only a consequence of a loop from where you are conditioned. Segmenting the different stratas between the moment you think and the moment you execute.
Naturalismo (IT)
www.monstresparexces.com
It all starts with a microcassette recorder wandering in Rome subway, taping live cut-up bursts of saturated city life. Shifts to harsh noise that struggles to keep a buried layer of melody. Explores minimalism with irony, always loyal to cheapness and imperfection.
Gao Jiafeng (US/CN)
